Booking Terms & Conditions
All of our bookings are subject to the following:
Course fees are required to be paid on booking to secure your place.
Payment of your invoice is due 7 days from the date of the invoice, or 14 days prior to course commencement, whichever is sooner.
If Sewing Time cancels a course for any reason (eg. minimum course numbers not reached) you may choose to receive either a full 100% refund, or to transfer your payment to a later course.
If you cancel within the two weeks immediately prior to course commencement, or are unable to attend on the day for any reason, there will be no refunds or transfers issued.
Approved cancellations will incur a 10% fee of the course cost to cover expenses and administration.
On occasions photos may be taken during a class or workshop. Sewing Time reserves the right to use these photos for promotional purposes and no remuneration will be given. If you do not wish for you or your child to be photographed while at Sewing Time please advise us in advance in writing.
The minimum age for our students is seven years old. In our experience this is the minimum age from which children are able to learn to sew in a safe and focused environment.
All children are welcome to attend our classes, however if your child has a medical, learning or behavioural issue, we ask that you speak to us in advance so that we can be aware of it and plan how to assist them in the best possible way.
At Sewing Time we pride ourselves on providing a safe and nurturing environment and do not tolerate bullying or inappropriate behaviour of any sort. (We’ve never had this situation arise during our classes or workshops, but we like to state this rule for your peace of mind.)
